Description

HBsAg (Hepatitis B Surface Antigen) is a test that detects the actual presence of the hepatitis B virus in your blood. A “positive” or “reactive” HBsAg test result means that you are infected with hepatitis B and can spread the virus to others through your blood. This test can detect the virus as early as 1 week and as late as 9 weeks, with an average of one month after exposure to the hepatitis B virus.
